How we think about and protect the environment going forward has become so important. So making sure young people like us are trained and aware is important. Through my research into Keep America Beautiful and Roots and Shoots I saw how they are focused on training and educating children so when they grow up they will naturally think about preserving our environment.

I also saw how it's true that every little bit helps. If everyone thought that way then our environment would be safe in the future. Because if everyone chips in then it will be safe. Even the neighborhood pick up I organized made a difference. We were able to clean up parts of my neighborhood.

This has made me want to continue to be involved in litter pick ups through KAB and hopefully through ones I organize myself.
