Location We Cleaned

This is my neighborhood, where we did the cleanup effort.

I printed up 50 flyers that I put in mailboxes throughout the neighborhood a week before the clean up day

I posted flyers in 3 locations in the neighborhood where people would see them

On the day of the pick up we had gloves and bags available

We picked up trash for 2 hours at the front of the neighborhood and down at the pond in the neighborhood

We did not get the turnout we had hoped for - it was only family and 1 neighbor that helped. But this has encouraged me to make the next event more visible and spend more time recruiting volunteers beforehand
